Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Nairobi Arrival- Masai Mara National Reserve

Asseble at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (Mumbai International Airpot) to board flight to Nairobi (Mumbai – Nairobi distance 5:30 hrs). Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi International Airport) and proceed  to Masai Mara passing through the lower scenic Mau escarpment road into the Rift Valley floor to arrive in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent on a game drive. This reserve has hilly savanna, rolling grassland, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. The large predators are the lion, leopard and cheetah .The smaller predators are the hyena and jackal.. The large herbivores are the elephant, rhino Burchell’s zebra hippo, buffalo and giraffe. The large herbivores are the antelopes and bucks. The Masai ostrich, the world’s largest bird is found in the park.

Day 02: Masai Mara National Reserve

These days belong to you, you can enjoy a morning of game viewing and explorations and an afternoon game drive as you wish in the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place Months before the actual migration the herds “assemble” in Serengeti in readiness for the crossing into Masai Mara. The plain is literally covered with these animals, Grunts and other animals sound are world takes territorial flights are commonplace. The migration now declared the seventh wonder of the world takes place from end June to beginning October. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive to further explore the reserve

 Day 03: Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara past the Masai Town of Narok and further on past the dormant Mt. Longonot to arrive in time for Lunch.Lake Nakuru is world famous for its bird’s spectacle with myriad of flamingos that thrive on the algae in that shallow alkaline lake, the endangered white rhino and so much more. After lunch, you will depart for your afternoon game drive at this majestic and scenic park.

Day 04: Lake Nakuru National Park –Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will depart driving Southwards towards Amboseli National Park via Nairobi where you will make a brief stopover for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed further on to arrive time for afternoon game drive. You will pass impressive termite hills and flat topped acacias some of which are covered with weaver bird nests. The ‘permanent’ swamps have much game especially herbivores so one can expect to see lions trying to make a kill. The larger grass-eating animals are the Maasai giraffe, the black rhino, the lesser kudu, the more common Burchell’s zebra and the usual bush bucks and antelopes. Elephants are also a common sighting. You will have an opportunity to photograph Mt. Kilimanjaro with wildlife in the foreground.

Day 05: Amboseli National Park-Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara through Namanga border. After border formalities, you will be met by our partner Tanzanian driver/guide who will drive you to Arusha for your lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed further to arrive at Lake Manyara National Park in time for afternoon game drive. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingoes. Before your afternoon game drive, you can relax leisurely at the lodge. The lodge has several activities to keep you entertained. After the evening game drive return to the lodge for overnight stay.

 Day 06: Lake Manyara National Park-Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti to arrive in time for lunch. Lunch at the Lodge then proceed for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. The essential features of climate, vegetation and fauna have barely changed in the past million years.

 Day 07: Serengeti National Park

Full day in Serengeti plains, Search for wild game you might have missed the previous game drive. Morning and afternoon game drives. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back.

Day 08: Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Optional En-route, visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archaeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Proceed on to arrive at your lodge in time for a half-day visit to the crater floor. Our 4x4 vehicle takes us down the steep walls of the Caldera into the primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelter approximately 20,000 animals. In the crater, see a spectacular array of wildlife including the “Big Five”. The crater has a variety of ecosystem including grassland forest and swamp. The lake on the crater floor is a home to flamingos and many other species of birds. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar

 Day 09: Ngorongoro Conservation Area-Nairobi Departure

After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro for Nairobi via Arusha town where you will make a short stopover for your lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred Namanga border, exchange vehicles and proceed further on to arrive late in the afternoon at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time to board flight to Mumbai.

Terms and Conditions:

·         Check-in and check-out timings of the hotels should be followed.

·         Passengers are requested to take care of their belongings.

·         We have a right to change the itinerary as per the situation without any prior notice.

·         80% of the total tour cost should be paid at the time of booking. Remaining 20% should be paid before 10 days before the departure.

·         We are not liable for damages for any delay or default in performance during the term hereof if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, Government restrictions, continuing domestic or international problems such as wars or insurrections, strikes, fires, floods, terrorist attacks, work stoppages and embargoes.

·         Any disputes arising in respect of the tour shall be subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction.

Cancellation policy (provided full payment should be received at the time of cancellation)

·         10 days or less - 100% of the cost.

·         Between 11 - 20 days - 20% of the tour cost.

·         21 days or more – 30% of the tour cost.
